I have videos from actual id theft victims and you are absolutely correct that recovering your identity once it&#039;s been stolen can be a nightmare. One woman keeps getting arrested for crimes committed by someone using her name, and as soon as she thinks it&#039;s all over with she gets arrested again and has to start the process all over. It&#039;s been happening in a cycle like that for years.

Another woman almost had her children away after a woman gave birth to a crack baby using her identity. She nearly lost her kids to child services while trying to get it through to them that it really wasn&#039;t her. You probably know horror stories like these as well.

Anyway, thanks for the well thought out article.</description>
